I think if I had to state one overall "goal" for being on Substack, making new friends (both online and potentially in real life) would be it.
We've already met up with Don Boivin when he and his wife Jennifer were in town, and have had conversations with at least a few others that I'm likely to meet up with if we're ever in the same neck of the woods.
In that regard, no matter what the subscriber number looks like, this place has already be a successful endeavor.
My only regret from our recent trip through Michigan is that we didn't time it better (and give you plenty of notice) so we could all hang out. You and Brenda are high on our list to meet in person! Hopefully, we'll find that time in the future.
Thanks for thinking of us and mentioning us. The small community we've been building here makes being here worth it. It's been a fun journey. Now I'm gonna check out some of these other peeps.
I love this! Thanks for including me on this wonderful list of friends. It's exactly the type of community I'd been hoping for when I started here. Today, I'm going to play a little hockey, raise a couple drinks, love my family and friends, probably pop on an album, and feel happy about all the good in our lives.
Rock on brother! Another excellent post and thank you so much for the shout out. Very kind of you. Sending you and Brenda a big virtual hug. I think a lot about the connections I have made here too. I remain in awe. Your writing, like your photography are something I always look forward to. And Nuno? Super cool cat. Have been following him since his tune tag with Brad.
Well done as always, sir! It’s been a pleasure getting to know you on this platform.
Glenn! Thank you so much!

Hopefully on your next run up this way!! :)
Or maybe we get to meet up somewhere on our travels, but we definitely will be back through there at some point.
