I laughed when I read that you tend to write a backwards, with some of your thoughts at the beginning needing to go at the end. I do the opposite. I’ll write and then realize that the back half of what I’ve written should actually be the start!
Fun read. I completely identify with you on this. My mantra is, “I love to write. I hate to write. I need to write.” My wife, the list maker and time keeper in the family, wonders why I can’t just sit down and pump out something on demand. We’ve been together for 30 years and my answer is still the same: “That’s not how it works…”
Whatever gets you there, right? Part of what makes you unique.
And what works for one doesn’t work for another.
