Great read! Thanks very much. Please don’t be dissuaded from walking the Camino de Santiago. My husband walked the French route in 2016 (500 miles at age 62). I walked the Portuguese route with him in 2018 ((200 miles at age 59). It was the most amazing experience and I highly recommend. Some industrial bit at the edge of a few cities, but mostly gorgeous countryside, small quaint villages with cafes and pubs to keep you going. You will see what you need to see and meet people from all over the world. It can be life changing. It’s all about mindset. Buen Camino. BTW - love the shoutouts for Manchester. We live there.
